Why I do what I do
There are many wonderful people who portray Santa Claus during the holidays. Lou Claus is different. He is known as Santa's Living Twin Brother because he believes Christmas is more than a celebration — it is an opportunity to remind children and adults that the greatest gift they will ever receive isn't found under the tree. It's already inside them.
For more than two decades, Lou Claus has been creating unforgettable experiences for families, schools, corporations, charities, libraries, hospitals and communities. His warmth, humor and ability to connect with people of every age have made him a favorite at private celebrations, public events and media appearances.

In today's world, children need more than entertainment — they need hope, encouragement, and a reminder that they already possess the greatest superpower ever given to humanity: the ability to love, the ability to care, and the ability to contribute to another person's life.
Lou's work supports The Claus Cause, an initiative dedicated to helping children discover that superpower while raising awareness and support for children's charities and programs that improve young lives. Every appearance becomes an opportunity to introduce children, parents, educators and organizations to what he calls the Science of Kindness, Caring and Gratitude.
Because no other character
has that kind of trust.
Santa creates an emotional connection with children that almost nothing else can. Lou uses that connection as a doorway — not a destination.
